As the busy tournament season is about to start, Darts Alberta would like to remind participants that if incidents occur, please go immediately to the control desk and report them … instead of having matters escalate out of control. 

Disciplinary proceedings are quite expense and not a good use of Darts Alberta funds. The Board is putting new processes in place regarding our disciplinary policy.

• Asking for incident reports from our tournament organizers
• New requirement in the process being added that if an issue was not reported to the control desk for the organizers to handle, the complaint will be deemed invalid
• Ranked Tournament Director Responsibilities and Guidelines document being created to help organizers understand what their responsibilities are and how to manage issues and conflicts when they occur
