Member League Doubles

DA Member League Championship

The Member League Championship Program is one of several programs offered exclusively to Darts Alberta Member Leagues. The objective of the program is to offer a team-event atmosphere, at a relatively equitable calibre of competition, focused on camaraderie and the competitive spirit.

Players enter directly into the Member League Provincial Championship.

This event is held the day prior to the Darts Alberta Annual General Meeting and AGM Shoot, typically in the same venue.

Eliglibility and format highlights:

  • The events consist of Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles
  • There are no spares permitted
  • Pre-registration is required
  • ALL participants must be members of a Darts Alberta Member League, but you and your partner do not have to be members of the same member league
  • No two elite players can be on the same doubles team (link to the elite player list is included on the tournament poster)
  • The format is 501, straight in, double out, doubles matches

  • The exact number of games and matches shall be at the discretion of the Tournament Director based on the number of teams registered

Award Package

Men’s and Women’s Doubles winners will each win travel and accommodations to a maximum of $600.00 to attend and participate in any WDF ranked tournament or any NDFC Ranked Tournament outside of Alberta.

  • The WDF event can be anywhere (Alberta, Canada or International)
  • The NDFC event must be outside of Alberta
  • Only one award per tournament, so if multiple awards are received these cannot be combined to participate in one single tournament
  • In order to be reimbursed, receipts are required for airfares and accommodations
  • If driving to the event, you will be reimbursed at the rate of $0.20 per kilometer (no gas receipts needed)
  • Meals, entry fees and any other expenses are not eligible for reimbursement
  • Advance notice of what tournament you are attending is highly recommended
  • The award must be used within 1 year of it being earned or the award will be forfeited.

Members are not eligible to apply for a grant if they have an outstanding award that coul be used for that event.

Runners-up will each receive a coupon for free entry into a singles event at a Darts Alberta Ranked Tournament
